What a fantastic holiday!  The villa is well equipped and has a homely feel, a bonus is it’s only steps from the lake, and having the hanger to store all our tackle and great to be able to have our dinners outside.

The pool was great for the kids and a relief on the hot days. The fishing was amazing, we didn’t fish everyday as we took the kids out but when we did it didn’t disappoint.

My son’s first serious fishing trip and he ended up with a PB of 40lbs and his first ever sturgeon at 36lbs.  For me I came away with a new PB of 52lbs, elated!  My girls enjoyed catching big roach on their float rods and my oldest catching her first ever big carp.

We used the house pellet and boilies, Thank you Glen for your help and advice. Looking forward to our trip again next year!

Must give a mention to the La Rincerie at Ballots, it has wake boarding, it was the kids first time and they loved it.  There is also a beach area and a great café.
